He holds diplomas in Composition and Piano, having studied at the Conservatory of Verona, the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn. His training was guided by renowned mentors, including Adam Gorb, T\u00f5nu K\u00f5rvits, Paul Patterson, Helena Tulve, and Federico Zandon\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Peter\u2019s work spans a variety of contexts, including concert music, visual media, and applied music for artistic and interdisciplinary projects. He focuses on creating music that enhances storytelling and connects with audiences, whether through film, live performance, or other creative formats.<\/p>\n<p>His compositions have been performed in Italy, Estonia, Spain, and the UK, ranging from orchestral and choral works to chamber music. In addition to composing, Peter is dedicated to collaborative approaches in music, using his art to address environmental and social themes. Ha studiato presso il <a href=\"http:\/\/conservatorioverona.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Conservatorio \u201cE. F. Dall\u2019Abaco\u201d<\/a> di Verona, il <a href=\"http:\/\/rncm.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Royal Northern College of Music<\/a> di Manchester (Regno Unito) e l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/ema.edu.ee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Accademia Estone di Musica e Teatro<\/a> di Tallinn\u00a0(Estonia) dove nel 2019 ha conseguito con lode il diploma di Master in composizione.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2020 \u00e8 ammesso alla scuola di dottorato artistico in composizione presso l\u2019Accademia di Musica e Teatro Estone a Tallinn con tesi di ricerca riguardante \u201cLa composizione collaborativa contestualizzata come mezzo artistico per divulgare temi ecologici\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>I suoi insegnanti principali di composizione sono stati <a href=\"http:\/\/adamgorb.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adam Gorb<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emic.ee\/tonu-korvits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">T\u00f5nu K\u00f5rvits<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/paulpatterson.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Paul Patterson<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/helenatulve.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Helena Tulve<\/a> e Federico Zandon\u00e0. In pianoforte \u00e8 stato allievo di Margherita Anselmi, Corrado de Innocentiis, Agnes Suba e Ida Tizzani. Ha inoltre studiato approfonditamente improvvisazione contemporanea con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emic.ee\/anto-pett\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anto Pett<\/a> e corno francese con Nilo Caracristi.<\/p>\n<p>Ha partecipato a numerose masterclass, seminari e workshop incontrando compositori tra i quali Simon Bainbridge, Harrison Birtwistle, Ragnar Bohlin, John Chowning, David Conte, Brian Ferneyhough, Michael Finnissy, Ada Gentile, Helmut Lachenmann, Klaus Lang, Enno Poppe, Rebecca Saunders, Denis Smalley, Judith Weir ed altri.<\/p>\n<p>Le sue composizioni sono state eseguite da EMTA Symphony Orchestra, RNCM Brand New Orchestra, Banda Musicale Sinfonica Stanislao Silesu di Samassi, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.manchestercamerata.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Manchester Camerata<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/bbc.co.uk\/singers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC Singers<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caritaschamberchoir.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Caritas Chamber Choir<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/tinethinghelseth.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tine Thing Helseth<\/a> e molti altri. Ha ottenuto esecuzioni in festival quali \u201cXXII <a href=\"http:\/\/muusikafestival.suure-jaani.ee\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Suure-Jaani Muusikafestival<\/a>\u201d (2019, Estonia) e \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/cineforum.bz.it\/rimusicazioni\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rimusicazioni Film Festival<\/a>\u201d (2014, Bolzano).<\/p>\n<p>Ha partecipato e vinto premi in concorsi nazionali ed internazionali: &#8220;Kantos Chamber Choir Carol Competition 2019&#8221;, \u201cCaritas Chamber Choir International Composer Competition 2018\u201d, \u201cPremio Banca Popolare di Verona\u201d (2015, 2013, 2011), \u201cPremio Vittorio Gelmetti\u201d (San Martino Buonalbergo 2007). Ha collaborato come arrangiatore e orchestratore con Andrea Battistoni, Dall\u2019Abaco Piano Duo (Sergio Baietta, Valentina Fornari), String Shivers, Liceo \u201cCarlo Montanari\u201d di Verona ed altri. Nel 2019 ha realizzato la musica da film per il cortometraggio estone \u201cPappn\u00e4gu\u201d diretto da Rauno Polman che \u00e8 stata registrata dall\u2019orchestra d\u2019archi \u201cTL\u00dc Orchestra\u201d di Tallinn (Estonia).<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 interessato al ruolo della musica come mezzo artistico-comunicativo di temi sociali ed ambientali. Le sue ultime composizioni, \u201cImpakt\u201d (per orchestra sinfonica) e \u201cCantus\u201d (per violoncello e pianoforte), sono l\u2019esempio pi\u00f9 recente dell\u2019impiego di strutture musicali per la divulgazione di messaggi ecologici.
